Hmm. Now that you mention it, I'm not 100% sure if the Michael Jackson original version does 'hit by' twice or not. I'm more familiar with the Alien Ant Farm cover, which does "you've been hit by, you've been struck by", so I tend to think of that version first...

I'll be honest and say I think of that version first as well, but like i said outta lazyness google came up with and i just copied the end of the chorus

Edit: I just watched the original music video... yeah it's hit by twice in that version.
