Double-size new hive picture

Well, writing isn't going well. Everything that comes out feels dry, not funny or interesting. Bleh. So I messed around with pixels again, and double-sized the new hive pic.

Eight turned out reeeeeeally weird, and One and Boss are too small, but hey… something...

well, aside from the size comparisons being off, it looks very nice.

now multiply the pixels by 100!!!!

Well, that would be drawing, and I can't draw.

I think I'll try a 3px side squares next (these are 2px size, and the old ones were 1px side), which could allow for more detail

Oi! Drawing in one thing. All it takes is practice. There is a saying that we all love to colectivly chant. "Practice makes perfect." But lo! It is a farce! Perfection is unattainable. Perfection is to be chased, always, but never caught. For to attain perfection is to cease to create, to live, nay, to even exist. The irony of creation is that we chase that which is the end of creation, perfection. Do not dishearten at your lack of talent for something. For there is no sutch thing as talent. Only practice. Practice and corresponding skill sets acquired through doing.

That's very kind of you , but even I can see Eight turned out completely wrong, and now that I tried to look at the pic without night mode, my stomach revolved a little. At least or next time I know to add a flat background.

I mean the 2 next chapters I haven't published yet. They just feel too dry, and if I try to make them funny, it feels like I'm trying way too hard to make them funny, if you know what I mean. They keep coming out too serious no matter what, and I don't want these changeling stories to become the next "Imbalanced". Which is also partly the reason why I haven't updated Legacy of Light in over a month.

Seems like one of those "dive right in" problems. The ones that if you think too hard about doing it "right" you are guaranteed to mess it up. If you want a lighthearted story、 write one and don't worry about it being cheesey. At this point i am sure you could make a story about watching grass grow interesting.
