I kind of expected some slight filly-like features in Buttermilk's face. She seems a bit more physically mature than I would have initially put her as. Still, a very nice pic.

I agree with you but, if you look to the background, it´s clear that´s they´re booth older, since Esmeralda seems in the early stages of drawing in the school...so it´s easy to imagine this is 2 or 3 years after their current story. Believe me, 2 or 3 years fighting "The System" and taking care of a child makes you look wiser and more mature VERY fast.

Look carefully - Esme isn't wearing a diaper, and there are childlike drawings in the background. This is set a few years after the current story, which makes the filly potty-trained; if not, Buttermilk would be getting a stinky surprise on her back!

On a completely unrelated note. Pegasus garments make my head hurt trying to figure them out. How does she put on or take off what she is wearing? Her wings are exiting out of the garment, but they are much larger than the space to pull them on or out of it. How does she put that on or take it off? A really patient tailor sews it right on her and then Copperquick rips it right off her when they get together in the bedroom? That's my current best guess.
