I finally crossed the 200 followers threshhold! In fact, I've surpassed it by two. The only way I can think of celebrating is to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you who enjoyed enough of my writing to follow me.
Even though I've grown slightly jaded with MLP this season, I'm not going anywhere for at least a year. I still have a few pony fanfics planned, and I may even continue writing EG stories if I ever lose interest in writing pony fics.
One of the fanfics I have planned is, of course, the long-awaited sequel to “Earth Ponies Are OP.” I wrote the outline well over a year ago, but I'm open to suggestions about some of the details. In the story, Twlight wants to measure the life force in an organism so she can get actual data on the life infusion treatments. Traditionally, earth ponies use life infusion in a way that “feels good,” until it doesn't.
BTW, I don't remember who said it first in the comments section, but I'm stealing “life infusion” because it sounds more professional than “life pulse,” although Applejack and Pinkie will continue to use the informal term.
Anyway, I'm thinking about measuring life force similar to electricity, like voltage or amps. Does this make sense, or can you all think of any better ideas?
Hey, if you get a reading on a voltmeter, use volts. Makes sense to me.
Also, congrats on the hectofollowers!
This season sucked. But we still have the fandom.
Congrats, man. You deserve it. I thoroughly enjoyed EPAOP.
What about pressure? It goes well with the analogy of force and distribution over a surface area and volume.
Celestia has EP strength, doesn't she? Would be interesting to see what her *ahem* "experience" has done to her Earth Pony abilities
Glad to hear that!
Congratulations. :)
Well, it's an energy flow, so I think it should be possible to use a voltage-and-amperage-like system, aye.
Congrats.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably do that.

I may use something like that to measure thauma in general.

It's weird . . . I liked a lot of the episodes, but the integration of the school was very clumsy, and it raised more questions than were answered. Granted, I still haven't watched all the episodes yet.

Some eps were good, and three (Kirin, Road to Friendship, and Parent Map) were I think really really great. Even the in-between eps that focused on the Student Six were fine, but man, that school...
