Fresh from the presses, I present to you Track Switch - Frankfurt Calling, by Celefin. For most of you, he’s somebody you’ve never heard of, but never mind all that.
Y’all know that I like Slice of Life, the ordinary stories written about the ordinary ponies. And for some of y’all, especially those who are only seeing this blog post ‘cause I tagged Sunbeam, you know that there’s a special place in my heart for an Earth with ponies in it. Not a big, adventuresome Earth with grand quests and all that, but a more mundane Earth, one where the parts person might be a unicorn.
This is one of these stories, and if you like these kinds of stories as much as I do, I promise you’ll enjoy it. So go forth, my friends, and give it the love it so deserves.

Sunbeam was actually one of the stories that influenced this one. That, and Turnpike to an even higher degree. My love for slice of live in the ponies on Earth setting definitively stems from Silver Glow's Journal though.

It honestly did have a bit more of a Turnpike feel to it, I thought, but I tagged Sunbeam ‘cause that had a lot more views and I figured I’d reach a bigger audience that way.
