You know what's cool? Phineas and Ferb. I mean, what's not to love? Simple yet fun characters making the most of their summer vacation. It's formulaic, but it uses an exceptionally good formula that keeps its fans coming back for more.
You know what's less cool? Localization. The process of one country importing foreign media is something that's hard to get away from for us animation fans. Sometimes it's fine where the localization company just dubs the show or movie into the local language without making the words sound wonky. Less cool is when the censors step in and try to change dialogue or scenes in order to weed out "offensive" material.
I think I once heard the MLP dub to some Eastern European country omits the word for 'magic' to avoid accusations of satanism. Yeah. MLP without magic. Try to wrap your head around that.
Anyway, after reading a great crossover chapter about a month back and seeing the official Phinseas and Ferb/Milo Murphy crossover episodes, I've really been put in the mood to pay my own tribute to this great show. But how? The last time this happened, I sort of did a modded play-through of Jak and Daxter, but that won't really work with a show.
So I got to thinking. What would a show like Phineas and Ferb look like if it were localized by Equestria? What if the localizers had the idea, but no footage? That would force them to remake everything from scratch. Think about that. Phineas and Ferb remade to Equestria's standards... as presented by me. More broadly, what if Thomas decided to sell ideas of some of his favorite shows to be produced by the Equestrian media? Pretty scary, huh?
I've already got 8,000 words down and I think I'm about half way through. Just finish it up, add some spit and polish, and pray this is better received than the last time I tried something like this. If it is... Well, who knows.

I am legitimately surprised no one has ever sexualized this dance. But this is something that is somewhat under-utilized in HIE. I'm looking forward to this chapter.
Inspiration strikes at the oddest time and from the oddest places

Afraid I'm not much for song writing.

And I'm looking forward to the results.
Can't Wait, especially after the Jak and Dexter one.
