    What is YOUR Definition...

    People often yak at me

    "Try better yourself"

    "Grow up"

    "Improve"

They say all that, but they don't provide actual definitions or explanations of what they mean by all that. It's like I'm supposed to guess what they want.

The same thing follows with fiction, when people whine and complain.

    "This sucks"

    "Write them In character"

Twilight Sparkle Improving Lives? (Friendship is Failure)

    People sure love to complain...

She always tries her best to get through to those with friendship problems and help them improve their lives, no matter how much they reject and act hostile towards her.

She gets disrespected a lot because she wants to help people, even though she's a princess who's saved Equestria on multiple occasions.

What will it Change? (Trying means Nothing!)

In relation to my previous blog, https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1035717/i-have-to-or-you-just-want-me-to which relates to "Are you doing it for ME or YOURSELF?"

People still get up my back saying I need to "Get Help" "Change my groove" or, and the most often said "Fix your writing-- make it better/different"

I HAVE to, or you just WANT me to?

People often go about saying... "You HAVE to move on." "You HAVE to let go." "You HAVE to Improve" "You HAVE to this" "You HAVE to that."

But here's the real deal to consider. Do I really HAVE to, or do you just WANT me to? That's the ideal.

Friendship is Failure Characters (Ath-Lita) · 8:43pm Aug 10th, 2018

My detractors may be hopeless mental cases, but at least some people have a chance to understand, so I make this to SPITE and PUT RIGHT

(I know my detractors will make more riffs anyway, they always do, and they never lighten up)

She's a blank flank because I can't import Cutie marks, and I made this in a hurry

(Her abusive behavior is Inspired by Suzune Kagami) ULTIMATE OTAKU TEACHER

Ath-Lita is an Earth Pony, aspiring Equestrian Olympic Athlete, and the estranged younger sister of pony actor Talon-Ted. She is very Athletic and excels at many sports and track fields. However, it is duly noted that she has an incredible short temper, and expresses disgust for ponies that do not make things of themselves (preferably her older brother) She claims to be acting out of pure goodness and concern, wanting others to simply be something constructive or productive with their lives, when really it becomes clear that she is a hot-tempered psychopathic abuser who often resorts to beating ponies with a baseball bat should they not meet her expectations and refuse her advice.

She is also known, according to her brother, in being "The world's worlds foremost expert on ignoring everything you say to her like it doesn't matter" which turns out to be true as she refuses to accept "No" for an answer.

FRIENDSHIP IS FAILURE #5: PRIDE AND PUNISHMENT

Ath-Lita and her older brother Talon Ted were once close siblings. Growing up together while their busy parents were always working far away. Ath Lita's dream was become an Olympic winning athlete and she trained hard for it, while her brother Talon aspired to become an actor. However, Talon's approach to this dream seriously disturbed his sister, as Talon wished to achieve his goal without professional training, without getting a degree from any institute, or holding up a simple job to pay for intuition and other sorts. His reasons: Wanting to prove there is an easier alternative, and you don't have to work as hard as you think you do.

Unfortunately, many acting agencies refused to give him a chance. Even though he had earned a cutie mark to symbolize acting, to them it was not enough to simply have a cutie mark. (No degree meant NO WAY)

As a result, Ath-Lita pressured her brother heavily to attend classes and earn his degree to allow him to gain the proper recognition to achieve his dream, which he refused, not wishing to sullen his pride and not wishing to become the very things he was working against and trying to put a stop to.

This lead Ath-Lita to become short tempered with her brother, and she threatened to beat him up with her bat unless he complied to her wishes, to which Talon cowardly decided to do to avoid his sister's wrath, and eventually earned his degree.

While Ath-Lita was proud, her brother was furious. As punishment to the acting community, and to spite his sister as well as keeping his pride, Talon shunned the acting community, no matter what offers he was generously given; seeing the agencies as nothing but bigoted fools who couldn't appreciate alternative ways.

He spent his days working on a loading dock, and lived off his earnings, as well as 1-million bits in a cash settlement from being involved in an accident that broke his legs for two months.

This lead Ath-Lita and Talon to becoming squabbling siblings, with Ath-Lita constantly pressing her brother to take an offer and achieve his dream, only for him to refuse, resulting her becoming more abusive and psychopathic. She would chase him non-stop and continued to beat on him to peruse his dreams rather than respecting his wishes and leaving well-alone.

Eventually, Ath-Lita enlisted the help of Twilight Sparkle and friends to help convince her brother to stop his spite with her, and to peruse his dream despite his pride, of which the ponies failed miserably as Talon's stubbornness proved to be thicker than anything.

Furiously, Ath-Lita threatened to beat her brother up again, but was pressured by Twilight to host a charity theatrical play, with Talon intended to be the star, hoping the act of good cause would snap him out of it...

...Unfortunately, Talon still refused, irking his sister even more, and leading her to issue a kidnapping plot to force her brother out of his shell. Unfortunately, Talon overhead her plan from other ponies and set up a ruse of his own to trick his sister and get back at the community for their behaviors towards him and other aspiring actors.

Ath-Lita abusively knocked out, whom she though was her brother with her bat, and forced him to perform. In the end, it turned out to be an equally talented impostor whom Talon made up to look like him, and who gave an astonishing performance for the play.

With the ruse revealed, Ath-Lita furiously called her brother out, only for her arguments and hot-tempered attitude to reveal her true colors to everyone as an abusive control freak who was pressuring Talon to follow his dreams for her own satisfaction rather than out of concern and care for her brother's wishes.

Thanks to Talon's rude, Talon, acting agencies agreed to loosen up and give ponies better chances than what they gave before (Refusing them for simple lack of degree and professional training... cutiemark or not)

Talon, having finally proven his ways and reshaping the community, finally left home to be a professional actor with many offers pouring in. However having had enough of Ath-Lita's temper, abrasive behavior, and abusive actions, he disowned her as punishment, leaving her his large cash settlement for support.

Ath-Lita began to bewail and regret her actions, but too late to make amends with her brother.

She currently lives alone, still training for the Olympics, and has not heard from her brother ever since. Talon had even taken a restraining order on her, paying off distributors not to allow her admittance to any of his live performances, wanting to keep her out of his life.

In the end of the day, Ath-Lita has no pony to blame but herself, and must learn to respect other people's wishes rather than enforcing her beliefs on them, as bullying and badgering someone to meeting her expectations will only cause more harm than help.
