What's in an update? · 4:02am Apr 5th, 2018
The answer is words. Usually a lot, but not for this person! <--
Aight, so update!
Well, firstly, I'd love to refer you guys to my story submitted for the Two Face Charade Contest around a month ago. It's a story that I REALLY struggled to write. It was something that I've dabbled in in tiny bits, but nothing I've truly tackled head on. I'm mostly doing this to shill that story, since I don't think it got that many reads, and I really hope you can check it if you don't mind some sympathetic cheating in your horses. If it's worth something, FamousLastWords loved it! That's something, right?
Secondly, I've finally started writing my new big story! Woot! I'll be going down a more adventure–oriented angle with this one, though if you've read my previous long works, I've been trying to train that muscle for a while, so I think it's time to do something, even if it isn't going to be a BIG scale phenomenon. Gotta try what you love, right?
Thirdly, if you have been a fan of A New Day, A New World and have been patiently waiting!
*Probably you above.
Well, in true I'm still not working on it. BUT! I'm actually going back through it and getting my bearings on it, because it turns out that leaving a story to rot will make you forget a lot of details! Whoopsie-daisy! Still, that story is so gonna be finished in a year's time, I TOTALLY guarantee it.
And finally, I wanna talk about horse! I watched the premiere (watching the third one the day after this is posted) and I will say, I really liked it! Especially a certain cutie-pie of a Yak named Yona. Man, she is just adorable. The episode also shows why Starlight is such an integral part of the group, it really needed someone who wasn't sugarcoating stuff—she truly adds to the dynamic.
And that's my long, kinda/sorta/not annual blog post. As I finish this up, I've come to realize I put more effort into it than I did most others. That's a good sign, right? I hope it is, it took me like twenty minutes to write.
Anyway, I hope you look forward to my work, which will exist! Thank you for reading, and see y'all next time!
PS: I know I didn't mention it, but I am still writing more short stories. I already have a few in mind.
