After almost 9 months of looking, I finally secured myself another job! It's not my first choice (first being working at our local library, after all that is what I got a minor in Library Media for) but at least I will be making a good amount of money. I'll be working at our local grocery store as a cashier. Might not be anything fancy, but a job is a job and this ling needs money to survive. *chuckles* Not sure when I'll start yet, as they need to send in a background check, but that shouldn't be a problem. I mean who wouldn't want a adorable little lovebug working for them right? Not like they are going to see about our attempt to take over Canterlot on those fancy computers of theirs, *giggles*. So if all goes well I shall be starting next week!
Now, as for how updates would/will go, this shouldn't affect things much. (Not like I've been very good with that lately *cough cough*...) I'll be working evenings/nights, so I can still get my writing done at night like I usually do, then sleep in for most of the morning.
BUT, because I am now in a better mood (despite the toothache problems mentioned in a previous blog) I should be able to get this next chapter out sooner rather than later. Part of the reason it is taking so long is I've been depressed about not having a job. A sad little ling trying to write a dark chapter does not equal an easy time doing so! Progress is coming through now though, so if all goes well I should get the next one done before the end of the month. *Hooves crossed*
