Hey, I've done that. Um. About twenty-thirty times. I've gotten better at putting down at least *something* for an outline now.
I know that feeling. I try to get around it by doing writing in half hours bursts either every day or every other day.

Go with your outline but always assume you're going to stray off the path and be flexible enough to let yourself do it. That's the ticket with this sort of thing. The meme is true enough, anyway.
