Personally, the saddest thing is we won't see Tempest Shadow again. I was kinda hoping she'd return for the next movie, unless they somehow squeeze her in for an episode.

To celerate Valentine's Day (or the last five minutes of it, according to my GMT Timezone) I thought I'd release the first few chapters of the Sonata Fic that I was working on, just to show that I'm still kicking, and to give those interested something to read post-Valentine's.

So, I'm at that part of the fic where Sonata's talking about herself, and I kinda wanted to add a reference to Rainbow Rocks by having her describe a scene when she made a funny quip or something.

Then I realised... she's never made a funny quip beyond a response to someone's "nuh uh!" or "yuh huh!" Everything else she says isn't really "Wow, I should really share this with my date" material.

Guess I'll persevere though. I always do :)

So yeah, not a fan of the Mudbriar guy. Maud's quirks are charming and funny at times, but Briar's is just the "technically" joke done to death. I don't know how they managed it, but he somehow made that joke old by the FIRST time he said it. That's badness.

Oh, also we learn that Maud hates parties. Good job I didn't just make a fic about her going to a random Canterlot donkey's party then, am I right!? Hahaha KILL ME NOW

You know, I wasn't expecting Sonata's fic to win, what with it containing niche aquaphilia and breathplay, and with it being Equestria Girls-based. But that's fine by me!

As for the two tying in second, I'll decide that one myself when it comes to making them. For now, I'll be getting started on the Sonata fic!
