Without having watched it yet, I kinda get the feeling that it's gonna be a cringe-fest of second-hand embarrassment.... I'm gonna have to get back to you on that of after I'd watched it.

Oh don't worry, it's nothing like 100. While 100 was "for the fans", 200 is "for the cast". As in the actual VAs wrote this episode.

Well, having watched id, I've got only two things to say: the fac-canon about Spike being like a little brother to Twilight and Shining was utterly destroyed. At least they belatedly realized it at the end, but Spike's words about them never considering it in the past were enough to do damage.

And, I'm disappointed that they immediately swept the idea of Twilight actually coming up with a brilliant plan that Shining wouldn't immediately crack under the rug, so I guess the fanon about Twilight being smart is destroyed too.

Oh, Twilight's smart. It's just that Shining Armor's her brother. Siblings know each other's shit, that's just a fact of life.

Today's episode might be the best episode of MLP ever made. I will reserve judgment until the series is over and I can critically evaluate all of the episodes I have deemed 10/10 and choose one to be 11/10.
