Xenoverse 2 Blog Intermediate: Running With Multiple Characters? · 6:37pm Feb 24th, 2018

So off-recording, I'm making some extra characters today for lulz, and a thought occurs.

Would my XV2 vlog series be more interesting if I was going through the story with EVERY character I create, alternating characters between missions? It'd mean I'd have to play through every story quest several times over, but I'm actually fine with doing that. I just think this is an interesting opportunity.

What do you all think?

I would say no. Every race has VERY different combos, bonuses and all that. I'd say focus on one at a time. Or else you're going to trip yourself up.

Well, regardless, I'll definitely be flipping back and forth between TWO of my characters, because the Earthling female I just made MIGHT end up being my main over Majin Sparkle.

Also, I honestly don't care about all that shit. I'm playing this for the enjoyment, not for the mechanics.

Earthling females, well, from memory, you can combo into stamina break very easily, though this will take practice in Training Mode, (which is a GODSEND, trust me) and generally futzing around with skills you get to see what you like, what the damage is, etc.

By the way, you may get a kick out of this, but TURLES has one of the strongest Ultimates in the game.

Maybe have the difrent character's switch in between missions.
Almost like a squad that got together in the timepatrol. Then maybe you could make a backstory for each squad member.
It would still make you play through the story with each member, but who knows? It could be fun.

4804537 I think you'll at least appreciate that the Namekian race can regenerate its health when low, though healing items are still a recommendation for time patrols and parallel quests. It's also worth mentioning that each race has a unique mission that unlocks their hidden ability.

If you're dedicated to the characters appearance after having worked on it so hard...I'd definitely switch off Majin Sparkle as your main.
The Majin specific 'Awoken Skill' just turns you into Kid Buu. Good for combat stats...but the only thing that carries over from your character design is the skin color.
As for switching characters between missions...whatever's more fun for you. The only drawback to that from our side is it means it's likely to be much longer between mission vlogs.
