Heaps of Fun

Today I wasted a good hour pasting words into a text box. This is one of the things that happened:

hawthornbunny appears to make a hobby out of building tools of questionable use. Ones that I know of include his random story selector for his random reviews, something I briefly saw that pulled random quotes from random stories (I remember that one had difficulty sorting out M rated ones for a while), a word cloud generator, and, of course, RoboFoME (that which powers Unhinged).

Now he presents the "Word frequency heap visualization tool v1.0.0".

Then hawthorn reminded me that I could download .txt versions of the stories, so I did all of Unhinged at once:

I found this surprisingly varied.

I also put in PoSiE II...

...and hawthorn put in PoSiE I at the same time.

He's cleaned it up a bit since then, I think. This is a little too much fun, much like cycling through various RoboFoME cards to see what inane statements it'll produce for you. As it happens, I'm reading Silver Glow's Journal at the moment, so I figured I'd download the .txt file and send that through (It's 4.8MiB). This should be the most common 200 words, I think it was:

Turns out she uses a bunch of normal words. This story is the biggest reason I'm not reading or writing anything else at the moment.

While you're here, I have made some progress on that story I mentioned in my last blog post; it seems I need to write a second draft of the outline before I can continue safely with it, though.
