Moth Plays Dragonball Xenoverse, Episode 6: Training to Save the Past, Present, and Future!! · 1:33am Jan 28th, 2018

Welcome back!

After a series of frustrating and chaotic encounters with Captain Ginyu on Planet Namek, Kinoa encountered the true villains behind the changes to history: demons Towa and Mira, from the Demon Realm of the future. Now aware of the danger they pose to all of reality, it's time for Kinoa to get stronger so she can face the perils that lie ahead.

Episode 6: Training to Save the Past, Present, and Future!!

This time around, I did some training with Piccolo and took on a number of Parallel Quests. My training with Piccolo yielded a new ultimate technique; I accidentally killed the video capture a little prematurely on the Oozaru Vegeta parallel quest, but I picked up some sweet new skills there too. (I also kinda...forgot how you're supposed to fight Oozaru; luckily at this point Kinoa's so far above Vegeta V1 it didn't matter.)

The Dragonball hunt on Namek Parallel Quest was...really, really annoying to try to figure out, mainly because the game does a SHIT job of explaining how exactly finding Dragonballs works here, the Dragon Radar is hard to figure out, and I had to look up LPs online to figure out how to even clear this damn quest. Did I mention I'm not a very good gamer? :derpytongue2: Anyway, I deleted my only successful run of this quest mid-play because I thought I was about to time out, only to discover I cleared it with a D-rank. Whoops. Ah well...just as well. Nobody wants to see me running all over the map making an ass of myself trying to find a Dragonball that's right under my nose. Also, I didn't ace it--I actually only found three Dragonballs and timed out while fighting Rikuum.

The other quests I took on involved: Joining forces with the Saiyajin to defeat Goku, defeating Freeza's army on Namek, and defeating the Ginyu Force! I learned a lot and gained a few levels doing these PQs, and had a lot of fun just beating up bad guys.

What's going to happen next? Find out next time, on Moth Plays Dragonball Xenoverse!

See ya next fight!

I had that same problem initially with the Dragon Ball search PQs, it's a very clear case of "Guide, Dang It!"

Did I mention I'm not a very good gamer?:derpytongue2:

You're not that bad. But to be fair, yeah, the Dragonball finding quests aren't that much fun.

Its the incessant bleeping. That's what drives you up the wall.
