I'm just going to keep this as simple as possible. After January 2nd, I will be on an indefinite hiatus to deal with some personal demons. I'm not sure exactly how long this will last but rest assured, I do plan to be back whenever I'm done.
For those wondering, I'm still here and I'm still writing stories. Just with work, art commissions, and the holiday season, the stories have slowed to a crawl. But fear not, Saturday will be the release of the next chapter of Home For The Holidays. So get ready for more magical baby hijinks later this week.

And if he did, will he be the next villain for the HuMane 7? And then would Sunset have to drag Starswirl's arrogant ass across dimensions to finally defeat it?

If Sunset has to drag Star Swirl to the human world to defeat the pony of shadows that could lead to all sorts of trouble between her and Princess Celestia although it might give us a chance to see what really caused Sunset to leave Equestria in the first place. I doubt it was only because she wanted power and hand the ambition to get what she wanted.

I thought they specifically said that the Pillars of Equestria trapped themselves and the Pony of Shadows in limbo. Limbo, in most works featuring alternate realities, is often the name of the space in between worlds. For example, Equestria and Canterlot High. They are in two different worlds. The Mirror - Statue Portal allows travel between the two worlds. If you were to somehow exit before arriving at Canterlot High, you would be in limbo, or the void as some fictions call it. So, if I'm remembering right, the answer to this is no. He was not banished to CHS, he was trapped in limbo. I'm sure that's what Starswirl tried to do with the Sirens, but screwed up the spell and fixed it for Shadow Pony.
