So, in between commissions, I like to do some personal pieces to give myself a chance to relax. Recently I got the idea to revisit a fan favorite character from my (arguably) most popular story on this site.
Honey Pot
Just as a refresher, here's what she looked like back in the day.
Now, here's what she looks like after a well-needed update:
There were a few things I changed about her appearance compared to her description in the story, but for the most part, she’s the same mare she was 3 (or 4) years ago.

Looks like she's gotten a bit fluffier.

It looks good, but the Muzzle is the only thing that bothers me.

Very nice. My only issue is that perhaps she looks a bit fat. Other than that she looks lovely. :)

It kind of looks like a big nose from the Jetsons(or around that area of animation) instead of a muzzle and thereby in my opinion doesn't match the same art style as the rest of the body.
I remember this character. You make her a lot more curvy than I imagined. Neat.

I tend to go for a rounder look with my style (hence the muzzle shape) rather than try to be close to the show style like I used to do.
Since Honey's design has an overall roundness and softness to it, I went for the rounded muzzle.

Yeah, I changed up a few things from how she was described in the story (she didn't have freckles, for example), so she looks a bit different.

Really just an unfortunate side effect of the angle, and what looks like a bottom lip. All makes her muzzle looks like a big nose, like from The Flintstones.

Anyway, If it's not to much trouble, I request that we get a full body shot of the original from all those years ago then compare it to this current version
