Getting Back Into Gear (Hate Thy Neighbor Readers) · 3:27pm Mar 19th, 2016
I know, I know, it's been forever, both with Hate Thy Neighbor AND MOA: Alternate Perspectives. I haven't been writing much lately, but I've been presented with an opportunity to change that. I'll be making separate journals tagging both HTN and MOA:AP since this journal will discuss my plans for both, so for the folks that'll be getting this in their feed twice, I apologize in advance.
I'm going to be taking a vacation starting next Thursday, and because of that, I won't be doing any video recordings. This leaves me ample time to do some writing, instead. The funny thing about this is that I'll be vacationing to the town where I spent my last two years of high school, where a majority of my stories were first written. It'll be pretty weird being back in the same house where stories like the original MOA, Found You, and Shades of Night were born, but it's weird in a fitting kind of way. Like a spiritual resurgence, or something.
After my vacation, my school schedule will change, as I'm starting a new quarter with a new set of classes, and this schedule change gives me more free time (I have Fridays off again!) to work on writing, and I'll continue working on HTN until it's finally completed.
So what about MOA:AP?
Well, here's where some bad news comes in. While it was easy for me to work on two stories at once when I was a high school senior with three free periods and nothing else to do, that point in my life has passed. Being midway through my second year in college, it's simply impossible for me to alternate between two stories like I did in the past, and because of this, I'll be putting MOA:AP on hiatus until HTN is completed.
I know this is a red flag for most readers, as a hiatus usually means an eventual cancellation, but this will not be the case with me. In the (almost) three years I've been on FiMFiction, I've finished every story I've ever started, no matter how long it took me, and I fully intend to keep it that way, so while there will be a hiatus for MOA:AP, rest assured that it will be continued and concluded.

New chapters for HTN can't come soon enough.
