I Didn't Mean to Kiss Scootaloo — Chapters 1 & 2 · 11:20am Sep 15th, 2017
The first chapter of I Didn't Mean to Kiss Scootaloo has a bonus two-thousand words to it, tweaked for better flow, and followed by the second chapter. Again, my apologies for the lack of quality of this story, but I don't have the heart to spend any more time editing. The flaws of pacing, jarring scenes, no internal logic, unreliable characer—these all lie at the core of the story, meaning a complete rewrite and actual plotting would be necessary to make this into the story I would like it to be.
The thing is, I really don't like the story, so it's hard to justify spending hours editing just to have a few decent pages because of it. That being said, I have the fortune of folks like Props and CitrusFizz to fix whatever issue they can and make the damn thing readable. But, that being said, I'm too burned out to work on chapter two, so it's largely unedited.
Anywho, if there is any shining light to this whole mess, it's the lesson to have concrete structure before beginning a project, and not to rush into things for that instant—but also super delicious—gratification. There are two more chapters to go before the story reaches its end.
I hope you'll join me then, but you'd probably have a better time reading this and that.

Ah, I remember reading The Surprisingly Complicated Love Life. Great fic that.
Hope you dont get too burned out and drop the story early. The premise you have going for it is very interesting and would be a shame if it was rushed to completion or dropped.
