Poll Results! · 1:19am Sep 5th, 2017
I have finally finished my first pay period: I completed 13,142 words over my past five stories/chapters, for a total Patreon income of $1! And it only took me a little over a month!
Buck apples get bits.
So, to celebrate, I created a poll. And now the results of my Patreon poll are available.
I asked my patrons to select what I should focus on next. All one of my patrons responded to the poll, and based on the aggregate results of their input, the following three items are now at top of stack:
Irreversible
Twilight's Secret Journal
Princess Celestia's Trashy Erotic Novel (T)
I will be working on these in the order above, then alternate between them somewhat arbitrarily, with occasional work outside of this domain (but not until the first three updates).
EDIT: I'm just being silly. I don't do this for the money (or even need money).
(I mention this in part because moments ago I just lost a follower. And also an upvote on TSJ after I posted today's two chapter updates.)
No, I don't watch these things obsessively and cry. Much. (Still being silly!)
... You're making me feel really bad for not having any money to spend on anything.

I'm just kidding! I don't care about the money, I just think it's hilarious.
Sad to say, you're probably actually ahead of a lot of writers who used the publishing house method over the last twenty years. Sarah Hoyt has a few stories there, particularly of authors who had a good-selling book and still wound up $10k in debt to the publishers after 'expenses' came out of their piece.

I know, actually—I self-published a book once (mostly nonfiction: a written and spoken language). But I was not trying to make money off of the project.
Woohoooo you're rollin in it, Trick!

Huzzah! It's raining bits!!
I deffo feel weird when I randomly lose followers. But then I've unfollowed a few people myself, and I know it's not necessarily personal. Earlier this year I was getting so overwhelmed by my feed that I went through and cut >50% of my group memberships and ~50% of my follows. I hated doing it because I know it feels bad to be on the other end of it, but it helped me feel less overwhelmed.
