Grey Guard Pony passed away on 12/7/2018.

Sorry, I'm Zalabar; a friend who was asked to spread the word. Somehow I didn't think of posting here. Instead it was... well, direct message to the few we both knew. Phyco put up a blog on it back in December; https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/838448/dust-in-the-wind

It was the cancer, and GGP passed in their sleep.

    New Rainsverse Fic!

Just giving my followers who enjoy the Rainsverse a heads up. The next fic in that AU has passed the que and is now available to start reading.

In this one, we begin to delve into the fallout of Chroma's attack on The Heartlands and the fate of the Everfree Rangers in particular. If you're interested in seeing what happens next, go give it a look!

    Writing Lessons: Blood and Ponies

    ...This fic exhausted me.

If there is one over-arching lesson I learned from this little crossover is that having a plan for your story, even if you end up deviating from it, is important. It gives you at least a loose guide that you can follow and for someone with ADD having something that can help keep you on focused and on track ends up being really important.

    Weird Stores

I had a medical appointment today and saw two of the weirdest stores I ever have on the way to and from the appointment.

On the way out I passed Valhalla: Indoor Axe Throwing.

On the way back I passed Break Room: Therapeutic Demolition.

It is now a goal in my life to visit both of these stores out of sheer, morbid curiosity.

There's no real easy way to say this, so I'm just going to cut the the chase.

I have cancer.

Passed out at work on Monday and got rushed to the hospital. After a CAT Scan, they found legions on my liver and a growth on my esophagus. We're not sure what specific kind of cancer it is yet, but the hospital took a biopsy of the tissue in my esophagus and are going to narrow it down. Then it'll be time to see what kind of treatment I'll be going on.

I'm going to be trying to keep up with my writing while dealing with all this, if for no other reason than to keep some aspects of my life normal. Hopefully, the treatments will work out. I'll keep everyone posted on developments.

I wish for you speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's benign and easily treatable.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry about that:fluttercry:. I wish there was something I could do.

Shit, that sucks. Praying and hoping everything goes better from here on out.

lord be with you, may you be well again soon!

Oh bleep. I am sorry, but I hope that treatment can help you recover and to improve your health.

Oh wow that's awful. Hopefully it turns out to be easily treatable. Cancer is not something I wish on anyone

Well that's bad, I really can't think of the words to express how bad a stroke of luck that is, I hope it all works out well for you, stay strong.

Jeeze..... Well, i can't really do much more than wish you luck in this.

You will be in my prayers and I wish you lots of good luck!

My dad's had two different types of cancer over the past five or six years and he's doing fine - both got beat into submission with just a few rounds of treatment and they haven't shown any signs of coming back. Not saying that as an "everythings going to be fine!" Plattitude, just trying to make sure the positive is out there - medical science is actually getting not half bad at this cancer thing these days depending on what sort you've got. Good luck!

I wish you be one of the lucky persons who manage to defeat the tumours. You're fighting for your life now. Good luck!

Shit that sucks ass. I hope you end up alright.

I can't say I'll pray for you, I don't pray, but... good luck. You're gonna need it.
