First, love the little joke about Starlight’s “manifesto.”
Second, “we wanna know why Fluttershy keeps learning the same lesson over and over again. Be assertive already!” I can’t take this.

As Present Perfect noted, Larson’s kinda fallen into a habit of stroking the fandom’s dick. But damn if this wasn’t a great handjob of an episode. It was just non-stop laughs, lots of meta commentary that works, lots of character jokes and call backs. It’s also a good lesson on fame and how putting yourself out in the public eye can change your life. I’m sure plenty of users on this site can relate to one of the Mane Six struggling with what kind of attention they get and how they handled it.
Awesome ep, a highlight of the season along along with Royal Problem.
The ponies that argue is this fandome we always try to tell everybody witch ponies is best.
i just saw a blog post on here from someone that saw the episode, and tells Hasbro Fuck you. Apparently this episode pissed someone off. I thought it was alright. A Royal Problem is still best as far as im concerned.

Apparently though he didn’t even really write it; he pitched the episode back in Season 5 and apparently someone else found it and adapted it into this episode. They had to put his name on it for union reasons.
