This is the basic tenant of alchemy.
Humankind cannot gain anything without giving something equal in exchange. And strangely enough, it kind of fits life outside of alchemy too.
In the chapter currently going through the editing process, I begin to touch on that principle. Sunset has gained quite a bit in the last couple chapters, but what will the universe exact from her in payment?
If she were in front of the Gate, Truth would probably have some interesting things to say to her. So many hidden ideas and half-truths told to her...
I'm hoping to at least match Wooing in length, though I would love to surpass it in word count. But that will all depend on the words that fit best to tell the story involved. So let's see what rolls around.

Personally I like to believe that the world of ponies is not unfeeling and zero-sum. It feels like harmony is a real thing there, which means that there is a force underlying the universe that's working to make things okay.
"Who even needs magic, when I've got them!" Sunset scoffed, a triumphant grin on her face.
Harmony's face split into an unnaturally large smile in response. "You've done it, that's the right answer! Goodbye my faithful student!"
