Hello, everybody! I hope you're enjoying the first day of October, because I'm sure having a nice day. 
Anyway, right now I have a little bit of a concern. Nothing too serious, but it still bugs me.
When I first started writing Brotherly Bonding Time, it was my main excuse for testing the water on plenty of characters we've seen in canon, with plenty of them being weaved into the plot of the episode they appear in, while others just have some funny cameos. However, I've noticed that my most recent arc, which was just finished, is the only one of the main arcs which boasts a cast of all OCs (the only canon pony being Cheese Sandwich, who is one of the two main characters of the entire story anyway)--not even comic characters or ponies from past generations showed up (Daffidazey was mentioned, though). And while it's not bad, per se, I do worry about end up not including canon characters in future arcs to experiment with.
So... out of all the canon characters that hadn't appeared in the story up to this point, who should I try?

That's about everypony I want to see that hasn't been used yet.
The reason people prefer existing characters to OCs is because they already know the canon characters, so it's easier to understand them. But in your case, you have built these incredibly detailed bios for almost every pony in your Equestria. As long as the OCs have already had a Birthday Bio published by the time Cheese and Tomato meet them, I prefer seeing them to canon characters.

Trenderhoof could be worked in basically anywhere, and might be interesting.
Maybe Gilda or Gabby? It'd be cool to see griffons.
Oh, and Photo Finish. I'd love to see her try to "capture ze magics" of Tomato and then run off with an "I go," leaving him confused and wondering what just happened.
