Eh, I always believed Changelings could talk and have independence.
Changeling speak and in a language separate from pony language? Sweet.

With a quick gesture of a bare hoof, Trixie made a pass under the changeling’s nose and a sugar cube appeared, seemingly out of thin air.

One of the advantages of being in his natural form was he got to use his natural tongue. One quick twitch later, the sugar cube vanished, and he crunched happily along while putting on the most innocent face he could manage.
“That’s… vaguely creepy,” said the vet, still holding onto the forgotten tongue depressor.
“Yeah.” Trixie blinked once before resuming her composure, just as if she had not just been licked across the hoof. “They’re very popular among the female feral changelings.”

I love the voice actor behind Thorax! Ticks out the whole list, it's even buggy enought but not too much! Also - the name obeys any bug naming rule the Changeling Fandom had come up with over the years...
I just hope we see more of them until the end of the episode. Like, Maybe Chrysalis appearing at the end?

4158977 Please, Celestia wouldn't allow that nor would any of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony. Genocide is the most evil act one could commit and if the changelings are wiped out then you would be no better than Tirek or Grogar or even the psychotic jester clown who destroyed his world, killed his own king and ruined his nation and became a god, Kefka Pizzazo. To wipe out the changelings would mean to wipe out the ponies as well. All that hatred and disharmony would bring back the windigoes and the fires of friendship would be lost as would the Elements of Harmony be useless, once again rejecting their bearers over no longer being worthy.
Besides if they were wiped out, PRINCESS HEART would be so angry after what you caused that the dragon god Bahamut and his family would show up with the Mega Musicorn to judge you and the ponies for their crimes and if that happens there wouldn't be an Equestria left. Did I forget to mention that HEART could bring your parents back to life if you'd only asked? How do you think they'd feel if they knew you did all this for revenge? You'd be disowned and rejected in shame.
