Regarding Updates · 4:38pm Jun 6th, 2016
So, since last week was a massive cluster on my end due to family stuffs, we're currently one update behind on Respite. Yes, the chapter is written, yes, so is the one that comes after it. Which is why I come before you today with two options:
Option 1: You only get the Thursday update. This doesn't really have any positives for you guys, just for me. Basically, that I get to keep the buffer that I tinkered with the other night, and you all wait another week for the stuff I'd been waiting to get to since I started writing this thing a year ago.

As for my current buffer? Well, after some tinkering (re: I just combined a few chapters so this thing wouldn't all be in pieces), I have up to chapter 16 finished and chapter 17 nearing completion. I don't wanna spoil anything, buuuuuuuuuuuut you guys can look forward to some shenanigans in chapter 17. In fact, one might say that I'm feeling quite euphoric about those shenanigans! Huh? Huh?
Even my waifu is disappointed with that one. Le sads.
Option 2: I update Respite twice this week. You get the chapter you were supposed to have last week today or tomorrow (depending on when my lord and master good friend, Crystal gives the word). This is both good and bad for all of us. On the good side, you guys get two chapters and we hurry up to something I was really really really really (...) excited to get to! On the bad side, my buffer shrinks a bit faster. Oh, and you guys get to a rather mean cliffhanger sooner.
Oh noes.
Got a poll all set up for it. So, if you could all do me a huge favor and fill that out by ... Um, how about 5 PM EST? That seems fair. Yeah, get back to me by 5 PM on that.
In the meantime, I have shenanigans to write before I got to the doctor's office today.
