I love the Dark Souls series.
I've yet to play Dark Souls 3. Not because I don't have it, on the contrary. For the past three months it's been sitting there, on my steam account, installed but completely untouched. Taunting me. It's gonna get what's coming to it this weekend!
"Why?" you might ask, and more importantly, "how does this relate to pony?"
Well, because I've forbidden myself from playing the damn thing until I actually buckled down and finished chapter 125 of Trixie's Forest Retreat.
Cause I hate letting you all down and I hate every day that goes by without an update, because that looks like I've quit. Like I've put the controller down and decided this boss is too hard. Forget that. This story will end in a Completed and not in a 'hiatus'. No matter what.
It's surprisingly hard to get something done when you're out of the rhythm, but like a good boss fight, all the more satisfying when it's done. Even if I did need some White Phantoms to help me get back in the groove of writing things. Thanks fellas, you know who you are. 
Some editing and tweaking remains, but this weekend the chapter goes up and dark souls goes down.
