Midwest Bronyfest - Summary and Wrapup · 3:10am May 31st, 2016
When most people think of a Vacation, they usually think of a relaxing experience that rejuvenates the senses and relaxes you. I'm not sure if I would say the con was 'relaxing' as it was a rollercoaster of non-stop excitement. I'm utterly exhausted, and that's even after a day of relaxing.
I got to spend the con with a wonderful crew that I didn't expect. Honestly, I wasn't going to go to this con. Not because my panel wasn't accepted, but rather that my friends I went with last year decided not to go. It was a bummer, but hey, there's always a con next year. Then, three duders volunteered me a spot in their room.

These guys were so kind to let me join them. It drastically reduced the cost of going to the con for me, and made all of this possible. Plus, it was great to not be alone. Even then, we met up with some wonderful faces along the way.
Aside from the three I roomed with, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Arad, Quillamore, Duelist96, as well as saying hi to Darth Link 22 and Georg.
I have a few "Thank You" one shots planned for the folks I roomed with, since they were so kind to me, but otherwise, it's time to get back to work!
Man, that con looked like a blast! I'm sorry I couldn't be there this year, but I already have vacation plans for next month with my S.O. Still, I'm happy you had such a great time! Hopefully I can make it there next year.

And also, calling it a rollercoaster is appropriate because rollercoasters make people puke.
