... Hello 3 am. How have you been? Me? I've been better. I seem to recall not seeing you quite as much, and yet here we are again. Oh, my son? He's still sick. Terribly so. Gut wrenching coughs. Breathing like a clogged drain. His body feels like the sun as he lays on my chest. I'm afraid to give him any meds for the fever for fear of triggering that mean gag reflex he's been sporting. This is his worst cold so far as I can recall.
Ah, well. It'll pass. Can't really sleep in this position. Hmm? Yes, I mean THIS position. Kiddo is still using me as a pillow and I'd hate to risk waking him now that he's asleep for the moment.
Let's just sit and watch the night shrink, 3. I think I can see 4 coming.

A big general thanks for humoring my generally loopy and self-indulgent posts. Kiddo is down for a nap. First chance I've had to myself in over a week. Dunno how long he'll be down for, though. I have all these things I want/need to do... Honestly though, after last night, I just kind of want to sleep.

3965600 my first girlfriend actually had the movie guys ask to use their land for parts of the movie. It was all filmed here, actually! The political rally was shot up in Canton (or down south from where I now live), which is the county seat of my home county. Shot some in Jackson and here in Oxford too. And the siren scene in D'Lo which was 45 minutes south of home for me.
It is an amazing movie. One of my favorite soundtracks ever
