Weekly Death Blog - 4/30 to 5/6 · 5:06am May 7th, 2016
Here are the most notable (subjectively, of course) deaths of the past week from America, Canada, parts of Europe, and Japan. As usual, check Wikipedia for the full list of notable deaths in 2016 to date.
Frank Levingston, 110, American supercentenarian, nation's oldest World War II veteran.
...and as far as true notability goes, that's actually pretty much it this week. I mean, there's some other very old celebrities, some old athletes, and a couple of young MMA guys who died unnatural deaths, but that's really all I've got this week.
I guess that's a good thing?
oh he shall be missed
3926481 Yeah, dude hung in there, that's all I can say.
3926485 i hope i can
3926492 You really do not want to live to be 110. Take it from somebody who's seen too much of the inside of a nursing home and what's really waiting for you on the other side of 80.
3926561 i might not live at that age idk
I know I'm probably jinxing it, but I think the year of death has finally stopped.
Man... I feel so inadequate not knowing this people. Then again, I'm lucky that American-made shows are even broadcasted in here
R.I.P to a brave soldier.
Damn. 110-year-old vet. That guy had to have some serious testicular mass to hang in there for so long.
