She clearly has enough sensory capability that it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility to detect physical contact, but I would agree that it likely wouldn't have the same effect as an organic. I would equate it to seeing a Fast Fourier Transform on an oscilloscope, and actually experiencing it via your ear. I mean, it's technically the same thing (really), but your brain has experience and instinctual knowledge on how to interpret that kind of input as sound.
Really though, it's up in the air. :)
