Hey guys, I just wanted to come back and say I'm stepping down as a mod on Fimfic.
It's been a great ride. I've read a lot of fics and made a lot of friends, but I just don't have time to stick around the site anymore. I don't really want to leave you guys/everyone who keeps pming me to do mod stuff hanging, so I figured I'd make it official and step off.
Hey guys, so a lot of people have been asking me lately if they could get permission to publish the fics they wrote for last year's Secret Santa compilation. I've been really busy this Jinglemas season so I haven't had a lot of time to handle it, but the upshot of everything is that I revoked the fic, so there should be no huge issue if you want to publish the fic you wrote for your secret santa
You should be more concerned about the vampires hidden among us. That's why I've been working on a double-slit-experiment based vampire detector. You don't even know you're looking at it, but if you have a soul, then BAM! the photons were particles, and no diffraction pattern. But if fringes show up, then the person looking at it had to be a vampire.
Well! I certainly shan't be letting you near MY slit, even if you are fascinated by a magnificent vampire princess such as myself. Hmph! The very idea! *blush*
One would think you would at least treat me to dinner first.
3840088 They will need to be placed very close to each other - on the order of the wavelength of the light we're using. And will need to be in a vacuum chamber.
You got me you bastard.
Still got half an hour till April for me
Shit, the mods are really going all-out this year.
Nice try, Obs.
Oh right, time zones. Those are, in fact, a thing.
This raises an interesting question, to whit:
1) Does the fact that this site is owned and operated by a Brit mean that the time references are GMT (or GMT+1 for British Summer Time), or...
2) Does the site notice from my IP that I am in the UK and adjust time data accordingly?
Yes, it may be a boring question, but it is interesting to me.
EDIT: To clarify, for me the blogpost is time-stamped March 31st 11:24pm.

3840049 I, um, uh...
I require two slits, in point of fact.

Oh, you naughty fellow, you.
...Must they both belong to me? Or were you going to have someone else assist you with this experiment of yours?
It is now a matter of time...
