    Hi there, dear readers.

So. It’s been almost two months since I last updated something on my end, right? “Where’s the Letter updates?” “Are you going to write anything else soon?” “Are you okay?”

“Are you okay?” There’s a question I can answer.

    Returning From An Unannounced Hiatus!

Hello, dear readers! It's been a few weeks since the last update on Letters. I haven't said anything about the sudden absence, and for that I offer a small apology for going dark.

Long story short, family matters + writing burnout = massive shift in priorities for a while, but now I'm back to a relatively normalized state and ready to get to work again

    tl;dw: Fluttershy Leans In

Fluttershy's friends recommend three experts for her, instead of Fluttershy asserting herself and picking her own expert from the beginning.

Maud made a friend. No thanks to Pinkie.

She lives in Ponyville-adjacent. Sorta thanks to Pinkie.

    Thanks, Pinkie... but no thanks.

Finding a last-minute babysitter sure is hard, especially when you practically have a local shaggy-bearded unicorn babysitter back at home.

    ...Wait. Waiiiiit a minute...

Season Six Premiere, and a Tease of Letters' Response · 9:46pm Mar 26th, 2016

Princess Twilight,

I came to a conclusion today, as I sit in this bathtub warming up my frozen ribs that the Crystallization process seemed to skip over. Luna's also in the bath. It's a big bath.

I came to the conclusion that every one of us were morons. You, Cadance, Shining, and especially Luna and myself. Why?

Because we could have done so much better than what we did. And there's no excuse for why we couldn't.

Bring the sun closer?:derpytongue2:

Abso-fucking-lutely. I mean, goddamn it Sunbutt, you have the SUN on your BUTT! MOVE THE DAMN THING A BIT CLOSER AND IT WOULD TAKE CARE OF AT LEAST HALF OF THE PROBLEM!
And yay, another thing g to look forward to every week!

At least they showed Rainbow Dash demonstrating why she couldn't help (her wings iced up). When Celestia said 'no, you can't help' and Rainbow was like 'okay' I was going WHAT?

Forces greater than you and with vastly less creativity decreed it, Celestia. It couldn't be helped.

I'm hooked. Looking forward to the chapter just as much as I am to the rest of the season!

And Letters!Celestia hits the nail on the head. Again.

To spare you an astrology rant, that's not a good idea, you'd be surprised how much of a difference moving a massive ball of nuclear fire closer to a relatively delicate planet for the sake of dissipating a single super storm faster can make.

3830802 I was joking. I'm aware that moving the sun and or moon closer or farther would be drastic.

Thank you though for saying that respectfully.:scootangel:

No problem, I have a tendency to go on rants with far too much detail, so for once I said screw up and decided to go with the simple explanation. As simple as a magical horse being able to move a giant ball of radioactive fire in space bigger than a planet ever gets anyway.

...well, the usual reason for not doing better is simply not thinking of it at the time. Time limitations make problems much harder.
