Hey everyone! Remember that thing I said I'd be doing a while back? Well... Here it is!
So, I haven't been here in a good long while. I got the writing itch a while back, specifically for ponies and my old Betaverse fics. I might have something in the pipeline. I've got a few questions I'd like to ask the general pony-reading audience if you don't mind. Just so I can see if my writing style should be tweaked a bit for the modern audience.
Hello everyone. I know I've been away for a while, but that's due to me deciding to finish stories before I post them to revise, edit, and alter them to give you all better stories to read. I don't feel free to do so when I post stories live. This results in me getting frustrated with how a story is shaping up and then dropping it. That wasn't a problem when I was younger, but it's become one as
I'm low key working on a story which I intend to complete before posting. I'm enjoying being able to go back and improve, tweak, and change things to make the best possible version of the story, and it's nice to not feel like I am bound to a strict schedule of uploads.
A lot of people like the rebooted XCOM series, and a lot of people also insist its lore is bad/nonexistent. This isn't true in my opinion, but is the product of the game that sets up the world for the series having been released a year after the first game in the series as a prequel, and also it sucks ass to play. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is not a good game. At all. The story is really good,
I thought I would draw the lil guy up in a show vector style. Enjoy! Also, now everyone can probably see why everypony gets his gender wrong.

Huh, thought he would have a shorter mane somehow... and I always forget what his cutie mark looks like. THen again when I read stories I don't usually imagine the pones with their cutie marks passed their initial description.

3783717 That was another challenge. It had to be ambiguous in style.
First thought: Not quite what I pictured his cutie mark as, but then again I'm not a scientist so what do I know about how to portray such things in an image.
Second: what program did you use and are there any tutorials you would recommend?
Third: I think we need to see a Scoot+Lilly pic now!
3783826 The mark was described in THe Queen is Dead, and is symbolic of the Germane's mythology, symbolising the act of the Goddess Faust creating life.
I made this using paint.net a free program that's an easy to use photoshop clone. I have no tutorials, but a good palce to start is find a pony base, trace it with the line tool, make a new layer, use paintbucket, magic wand the area not outlined, delete it, and continue that trace and fill method till you have everything done up. After a while you'll work out how to draw your own poses and stuff. This style is easy as hell.
As for a pic of Creamsickle... okay.

3783619 David (in Dog form, he can drive), Jade, Lily, Scoots, and Brook. All stuffed into a classic Austin Mini and driving recklessly.
Also, this is adorable, but not quite as adorable as your-style Lily.
