So, while I was gathering up those fics to publish I came across a document I had forgotten I drafted up. Way back in the yesteryear of 2014, a non-Brony associate of mine took an interest in reading my fanfiction, namely Average Day in particular. Now, I rightly couldn't have them watch two seasons of a TV show and absorb several years of fan culture and memes just to "get" the story, so I decided to throw together a brief primer on everything a non-Brony needed to understand to grok the fic. When I found it a month or so ago, I had forgotten how funny it was, so, in the spirit of the Shelf Cleaning Intiative, I decided I would share it with you all as a sort of bonus content for both the Initiative, and the fic that got me started on this site.

This was actually pretty neat. It's interesting to see what writers will come up with when tasked with creating short "essentials" bios, as opposed to stories, where they're encouraged to show instead of tell. The difference between what trying scenarios that the writer finds interesting show about the characters and what they'll say about them when listing "obvious" facts is telling in it's own way.
