But if the chapters to Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions suddenly vanish...
DON'T PANIC!
I spent a good size chunk of yesterday reading over the story, my notes, then reading the story again, and thinking about an overhaul. I don't know what I'm going to do just yet, but if I'm going to finish this, the part that's already there needs some cleaning up in a big way.
If the chapters do go down, IF, being the key word, I might try to restore them at a rate of about one a day, or one every two days. This will be a major undertaking and will involve a lot of time and effort. I have so many other things I'm doing right now... but this needs to be finished.
Just be careful not to disappear down the rabbit-hole of editing. Can get caught up in that forever...
YESSSSSSSSS
Please finish that story it's one of my favorites.
Popcorn readying intensifies.

I'm just happy to hear that it's being worked on.
Sweet, if it happens, I'll look forward to a re-read!
Awesome.
I have waited over a year to hear this
The only real thing I really disliked about it was what was the significance of Nocty thinking he's 'lesbian'? You've emphasized strongly that Nocty is the only father figure most of the foals have ever had, and now in the orphanage they have four mother/ grandmother figures, and only one father figure. What is the reason to make the only male role model they have 'lesbian' rather than just rebuilding him into a strong male like you had been doing?
Three minor questions I have are:
1. What was the nature of Nocty and Storm Score's friendship before Merryweather?
2. WHAT was with Nocty spontaneously philosophizing about griffin dicks when they were at the hot springs? That seemed so totally out of character for him.
3. I know this sounds trivial, but it always bugged be wondering about Nocty's stuff after he failed to kill himself. He obviously wasn't rich, but you also never implied he was homeless and when he realized he wasn't dead he never decided to go back to an apartment to get anything and I was unduly disturbed at the thought of his stuff getting kicked out to the curb.
You could say he'd just gotten evicted, and that's what pushed him over the edge; but that cheapens his suicide by making it seem more about money than relationships (or lack thereof). A simple solution would be that the hospice where he used to read to foals was hosting a fate, Nocty took down whatever tidbits he had that was valuable, burned personal items like photos, and then left for his last meal.
Again: very, very, very happy to hear you're considering this.
Hope it goes well.
Is this still being considered?
I think it could be a good thing for this story started with tons of potential.

Yes. I had some other projects that I had to deal with first. Right now, I'm juggling a few things and trying to figure out what I can get away with.
One other thing I remember from PLSS that you may or may not want to change. Literally speaking, an aroused horse penis would not be called an erection since it wouldn't be pointing up, (unless he was on his back which might happen in this world but wouldn't be the rule.) Personally, I prefer the word protraction, which simply means lengthening. But this is grasping at details here.
