This blog post is brought to you by the letter X. Which may or may not give it to ya. So far, though, the only thing that it's given me is the first day of school.

Screw you, X.

That's right, summer is over, the happy days of doing literally nothing for hours on end are over. We now return you to the drudgery and toil that is the school system. Back to worrying about my abysmal performance in maths, and floundering about in all my other classes. Oh, the ecstasy. Now, you might be wondering how that will impact my writing progress. The simple answer is that it probably won't affect it at all. I'm a slow writer, typing sparingly and methodically. I find anyways that when I have too much time on my hands, I waste it.

Speaking of being productive, let's talk turkey. For the new guys around here, which is... quite a lot of you... you may not know about this little thing I have on my page simply titled "Writing Progress". It's pretty self-explanatory. When I update it, you'll see how far along I am on the stories I'm working on. And if you take a gander right now, you'll find that part three of Air is... in progress! Incoming super spoiler.

He finally reached across and gave it a weak shake.

As a side note, writing [REDACTED]'s dialogue is turning out to be a lot more fun than I initially thought. Either way, expect drama, exposition, action, exposition, and exposition in the forthcoming installment.

While Air currently remains my priority, you'll notice a bunch of other little things populating the list of things I'm working on. Most of those are little one-shots that I'll be releasing as we move along through Air during the down time. When I work on them. If I work on them. No pressure or anything.

So yeah. Um. Pointless update is more or less pointless. But there you have it.

Wow, Fluttershy. That was totally out of line.

I have the same problem with my time management. When I'm busy, I tend to be much more organized and methodical, scheduling out what needs to be done so that I know how much time for each project going on needs. Despite the crunch, I tend to get more done when I'm like this. It's when I have so much free time that I don't know what to do with it, I start wasting it. I could be writing the next chapter that I promised weeks ago or maybe working on improving my other skills.

Nope! Free times means video games all day long!

:ajbemused:

So, yeah, keep at it when you can! Good luck with your classes.

I still have 'til September. :trollestia:

Wow, I've never seen Fluttershy like that. It hurt my heart chords.

That explains me almost exactly. Well, to be fair, I actually have been quite busy as of late, it's just I haven't spent my free time well anyways. :unsuresweetie:

In any case, you shouldn't so down about school, because it really isn't so bad. Yes, I caught that you were speaking with a semi-facetious tone, but still, enjoy school.

Or else.

he gave it a weak shake?

Well, you'd better remember - two's a shake, three's a wank.

Wait till your school is over and you become a regular nine-to-fiver. :pinkiehappy: You'll miss your math classes and all the time you had during holidays. :rainbowlaugh:
Man, I finished college 3 years ago and it seems like an eternity already. :twilightoops:

Tl;dr...
Cute fluttershy is cute

"He finally reached across and gave it a weak shake.".

I like where this is going.

Me in a nutshell.

Oh come on! You just gave away the entire chapter... Now what are we supposed to do?

That sounds exactly like me when it comes to writing.
