Well, folks...the contest I announced Sunday has sadly drawn to a close with no winners. It's a shame.
A lot of you tried, and I'm pleased to see some real thought went into it. And while a few of the more obvious ones were guessed, and the "Twilight Zone" one came up often (it was a decoy, by the way), I'm sorry to say nobody came close to the hardest one, and one you all should have gotten (which wasn't a reference, just a regular joke) didn't even enter into anyone's mind.
And I'd probably have given you credit even if you'd missed that one, because I gave no indication it was supposed to be something you were supposed to get.
Below the cut, I'll list all the references, jokes, and wordplay that were on the list of correct answers.

Today's Horoscope (Virgo): A ladybug and a black cat do not cancel each other out.
This was a reference to Ladybug and Chat Noir, the protagonists of Miraculous Ladybug.
#2:
As I reach the lounge, I hear Twilight let out a frustrated groan. "Rainbow," she says in a resigned voice, "I'm telling you, you'd fly west, not east!"
"Pfft! Yeah, right!" Rainbow scoffs. "Like you wouldn't fly east to get to Austra—" she breaks off suddenly.
Yeah, pretty much everybody got this one. If you didn't, shame on you. It's a reference to the epic Austraeoh saga right here on FiMF. (And don't start in on me about Austraeoh referring to Rainbow Dash herself, I know that, I'm up to Odrsjot. It's just the only way the joke works. 
)

Anna Plura's Crab Lab
There's two jokes here. The more obvious one is that it's a parody of Joe's Crab Shack. The other one...is the one I didn't expect anybody to get. And nobody did.
"Anna Plura" is a play on the Suborder Anoplura, to which pubic lice belong.
Anna's Lab Has Crabs.

Night Light takes it and opens it. Inside is a black pork pie hat
Breaking Bad reference.

"Is this...is this a Roddenbaster?"
Roddenbaster is a Looney Tunes-esque play on "rotten bastard".

OMG! Caught Rarity at the Crab Lab looking like a Jersey Heifer!
Rarity did, after all, come back looking like the kind of trashy cow you'd see on Jersey Shore.
