As of today, I've been on fimfiction for one year. That's twelve months. 365 days. 8760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds.
I first came to this site to publish a Derpy headcanon I had, and stuck around, using it to try to hone my writing skills, and get ideas out of my head and into text. And I think I've done that.
But I didn't expect to make so many friends and acquaintances through it. There are people I've come to know through the site that have made me grin from ear to ear. People I've shed tears over. People I've spent hour after hour talking to. People I can honestly say I love dearly. I'm not going to name names, but if they're reading, they know who they are.
Anyway, as an anniversary present to my friends, my followers, my followees — my Fimfiction family — I've written a story. It is called…
