[Equis 2] Five (going on Six) Sections in. How goes it? + Other technical stuff · 3:46am Nov 7th, 2015
Hey all,
So, we're five sections in, gonna be six... I have to say though, I really like where things are right now. I, personally, am liking the pace of the story, the characters involved, and just the 'overall feel' of it. Clearly, Equis 2 doesn't have the votes or the ratio that Equis 1 did, but that's kinda to be expected. I didn't expect a large fraction of people who wished to continue onward, and that's perfectly okay. Some people just can't do sequels. Regardless, I still love writing for this story, and a story after Metroid Fusion is something I've always wanted to tell.
How about for you all, all the 'faithful'? (lol) Being a good 30,000 words in, how's everything working for you all so far? Anything you're looking forward to? Speculations? etc.? Tell me below if you feel so inclined.
Now, some other stuff I wanna say. Remember in Equis 1 where I would put in .5 chapters? Well, that's not happening here. Every chapter will be an integer and fully featured. I will, however, still stay true to 'bonus content' as in Equis 1, but instead of placing them between the second-to-last and last chapters, they will instead be added as actual 'bonus content' should: after the story concludes officially. With the conclusion of this story (well in the future), I've decided that there will be no continuation afterwards; the end of this story ends my Metroid/MLP crossover series, and the universe I've created around it.
However, that doesn't mean that there won't necessarily be any more Samus and stuff (both before, and after the end). In fact, I'm actually gonna do oneshot specials with our favorite Hunter for special occasions. One such example is, for the coming holidays, I'm hoping to put out a oneshot where Samus spends her first Hearth's Warming Eve, in peace, with her pony companions.
Stuff like that. There may be more as well occasionally. Here, I ask if there are any oneshot suggestions outside of the above? Also tell me below.

Hmm...oneshot ideas...
How about Samus' pony friends throwing her a surprise birthday party, but all the sneaking around makes her think someone's trying to kill her? (Or some other conclusion that leads to her being in full armor when everyone yells "SURPRISE!"?)
If Tirek were involved in any of this you know he'll be BTFO.
3526604 You know, I've considered putting in some type of surprise party for the girl but I never got around to it. Having pretty much a repeat of that episode with Pinkie but with Samus instead sounds hysterical. I think I'm gonna have to do that.
Actually... I may have to add that as bonus content to this story
