Hi all,
So, I'm late, which might as well be a trademark of mine. So, where are we with everything and why?
As for why, turns out as I've been editing, I didn't write so much a chapter, as I apparently wrote an entire fucking arc. Pre-edit wordcount was just shy of 15,000. I've now edited and 'finalized' 12,000 words... and I still have 9,000 unedited words to go through. Meaning as it stands now, word count is 21,000 and rising. Lol, lmao, even.
Which means that to get everything into a state where I'm happy with it, not only would this take longer, but we'd be pushing likely 30,000 words+. I'm absolutely not shoving this gigantic cock in y'all's face, even if I said I'd give you the choice earlier. The next question would be, do I possibly need 30,000 words for the next 'arc'?
Probably not, no. But everything I want to include here, in my style of writing, I feel requires this wordcount. And if we look at previous arcs (Map, Fluttershy, Rarity), they ended up being a little less than this wordcount in total, so I'm comfortable with the extra needed to perform such a necessary feat as we're approaching.
But I'm also annoyed that I haven't gotten something to you after all this time, yet. So, we'll kill two birds with one stone. I'm putting a bow on these 12,000 words and shall leave you off on a nice place in the middle of the Luna arc where I feel a 'break' of sorts is warranted. You can expect this tomorrow morning Pacific Time (around 8-ish give or take). Which means that there won't be nearly as much of a gap in time until the next part of the arc. Aiming to finish these edits before Christmas... and here I thought I was just cutting a sliver off this with last chapter. Silly me.

Read it and enjoyed it but I could have used more. I am one of those who would rather have a big chapters and take my time getting through than a small chapter I'm don't with in minutes or less.
Still this is a great chapter and we have seen something that has never happened to samus before, she hasn't needed to fire her weapon yet. I'm personally hoping she can take that arc and go 'that was the first and last time I ever bypassed a weapon recharge point because I didn't need it'.
Can't wait for the conclusion!
