It seems like everybody was kitting up for Nightmare Night right at the start of October. You meanies.
I had a really nice costume I wanted to make (or more to the point, I wanted to commission from my friend NadnerbD who is full of awesome), but making your own costume takes time. I know this from all the years my friends and I cosplayed the Densetsu no Sannin. Anyway, ignore the tangent. Point is, the hard work (...on Nadnerb's part) is done, and now I've got a really cool costume I can wear for trick or treating uhh... fright or biting? (I'm not sure the show writers thought that far ahead.)
Skywriter, you can have your Princess Candybutt. This Nightmare Night, I'm going as my new red-and-black alicorn OC, Bradel Bad!
In other news, there's an original fiction (i.e. not ponyfic) Writeoff going on right now. The writing period just ended, but early reaction to the stories has been pretty positive it seems. I considered the issue, and I decided I was prepared to switch my username permanently if I wound up in a whole lot of trouble, but I appreciate somebody holding onto it in the interim. Even if that somebody does want to charge me for his/her League of Evil organizational expenses bandwidth.)
