In Memory of Skelepone, Writing Tonight · 6:01pm Oct 18th, 2015
For those of you who did not know, we here at the Her Knight in Faded Armor livewrite group had a reader named Skelepone who had terminal cancer. He spent time with us, joked with us, and read stories to us in his magnificent voice. He passed away unexpectedly yesterday. We thought he had six months, but we were wrong. Skele was a great guy. I remember the time he was reading something rather saucy in the voice chat when I entered. My reaction was something along the lines of, "What the hell are you doing?!" Chat exploded. Felix (Skele) was a bright light. He accepted what was to come and decided to make the best of what he had. Check out his stories here, and maybe leave a comment? I took his death pretty hard. I didn't want to write tonight, but then I thought about it. Skele loved the story, and he would want me to write. So, I'ma do it. For Skele.

Man, but hey - we all have to go in one way or another. He had people like you as companions and at the end he knew it. That's the best you done for him.
So - in how many hours will you be writing?
I've had people close to me die from cancer as well.
Sorry you had a friend die from cancer. Hopefully soon cancer will be a non-issue, like polio.

Yeah, Skele was a great guy. I only knew him briefly, but I'm glad you knew him for longer. Rest well, Skele, and know that you are missed.
It's sad to hear about Skele, I quite enjoyed his unique sense of humor.

I hung out with him in the chatroom to i will always miss him im just glad to know he could leave this world for a better place where he will be forever happy... RIP SkelePone... you will never be forgotten. I only wish i could have spoken to him one last time to say goodbye.
Those with the shortest time are often the best of company, giving now the life fuel that they won't be around to give later.
