So, some of you might have noticed that I posted a new chapter to The Sweetie Chronicles last night?
Well, it just so happens that we're approaching TSC's anniversary—11th of November 2011—The Sweetie Chronicles was posted for the first time ever on Fimfiction.net and Equestria Daily! (I'll have to do something for it.)
As intended, it's been a roller-coaster and there's more to come. Unlike other stories, TSC has plenty of arcs, subplots, foreshadowing in the story itself and in other stories.
As for what to expect... the next chapter in Bitaly will close that visit up and the next few months will have the updates for the current arc Menda-arc! as well as some insight into what's going on with the jumps this time around! Hint: it's not the same system Sweetie was used to! If you can figure out the jumping mechanism/requirements before it's spelled out in the upcoming not going to tell chapter, I'll try and do something nice for you!
Also, don't forget that The Sweetie Chronicles: Fracture is out as well, and will shed some light into what's going on in the original universe Sweetie came from.
Anyway, back to writing!
Ill be honest, Ive lost track of everything thats going on in this universe. 0.o

I'm looking forward to whatever happens with Mente Materia - that should be Sweetie's first human encounter, right? Unless that's still really far off. Appearances have previously been foreshadowed years in advance, after all.

What's going on now, is that Sweetie has become the changeling princess of the jabberwocky. In part, because Chrysalis granddaughter fed her some royal jelly, and since she was already a mutated for reasons I could care less about in backwards through the mirror, and seeing as she's developed into a competent spy after training under Chrysalis and Blue Blood during the time loops. I see no reason Chrysalis wouldn't upload her with some other changeling failsafes or magic to prevent betrayal or possibly cheat death. I know the first thing I'd do if I possessed a keen insight and came to the realization I had less than 24 hours to live would be to find a way to extend my lifespan, and expand my influence, beyond the veil.
This is speculation of course, but I could easily see Sweetie bell carrying a dark passenger in addition to the remaining fragments of her reality's Twilight Sparkle... Sweetie Bell opened herself up to the potential for being a manchurian candidate the minute she convinced Chrysalis/Cadence to offer her singing lessons.
Are there still plans to do an End of Ponies crossover?

Should Mente Materia readers expect a holding pattern until TSC catches up as per the norm (Edit: for most TSC crossovers), or will an early vague melding occur on that (MM) timeline as has what occurred already?
3425049 I believe the end of the Pink Eyes chapter alluded to it. From what I recall, Sweetie was talking with someone over the radio and they wondered how she got there so fast.
End of Ponies was also on the list, but I doubt that one will happen by now.

3425195 I think part two and three of Backwards are the weakest chapters of the entire series. Chapter one works well enough as a standalone, really, as the majority of Sweetie's character development in that arc occurs in that chapter.
Spoiler for stuff that matters in chapters two and three: Sweetie gets a sick hideyhole she can retreat into, and gets her shard.

I started reading part one, but I immediately lost interest. Something about it reminded me too much of a magic library or alice in wonderland type story. After increasing levels of awesome the arc was kind of a disappointment in my opinion. Reading it was boring and not exactly edge of your seat exiting for me. Mendacity was like the start of another book and piqued my interest right away. Keep in mind I haven't read any of the stories the crossovers are based on, and everything after the close of the time loops was kind of forgettable. In fact, other than the concept she got a magic floating dagger, and a doing business as name brand or title, I honestly don't remember much of anything particularly interesting happening. You don't really care about any of the deaths in the same way you care for he the loss of characters in something like Sword Art Online, Full Metal Alchemist, or Nobody's Boy Remi.
