MLP Marathon Bonanza - Top 5 Favorite Episodes! (Seasons 5-7)

Welp, it’s finally done. I’ve caught up on every episode of MLP and it was a thoroughly enjoyable ride. It’s been an experience watching all these episodes in such a short period of time, but one that I feel better for having done. It felt good to get back into the show after so long away, and now that it’s done I’m going to give a list of my 5 favorite episodes from the last three seasons. I’ll

    MLP Marathon Bonanza S7 E22-24

With only this post and one more until season 7 is complete, I thought I’d go ahead and mention that I’ve decided to make a sort of ‘bonus’ blog at the end about my Top 5 Favorite Episodes from the past three seasons. Originally I was thinking about just tacking it on at the end of the season 7 finale blog, but as I’ve started to draft some of entries I realized it’ll be a bit too long for that,

As you may have noticed if you obsessively check my page everyday, which I'm sure all 900 of you do, I haven't really posted anything as of late. The long explanation for why that is involves lots of things but mainly it can be summed up by the ring I now wear on my right hand (also I got both mono and appendicitis over the summer, yay!). Yes, despite my preoccupation with writing funny horsewords I still somehow managed to find a girl who not only could tolerate me, but even went so far as to love me. Fast forward 10 months and now I'm engaged to a beautiful girl whom I could not love more. How does this relate to fimfic you might ask. Well, the short answer is that having a girlfriend/fiance takes up a lot of time, but the long answer also involves my growing disinterest in writing that had already started to fester before I ever met my future girlfriend. I suppose you could attribute my burnout to trying to do too many things at once, but if I'm being honest, I think it's more about laziness than anything. I just started finding things to do that weren't writing and they became more fun as time went on.

In any case, this blog is merely to state that no, I'm not gone and I'm not leaving. Despite how the previous paragraph might sound, I have no intention of stopping writing altogether. Just for now the spark which kept me up late into the night writing about Trixie's travels or Twilight's adventures into the weird world of Celestia has gone away. Maybe it's out there somewhere inspiring someone else, or maybe it's just biding its time before it comes back to me. Until it does though, this blog will effectively serve as my temporary resignation. At least 6 months or so ago I tacitly left fimfic, but now I'm doing it formally. Like I said, I'm not leaving forever, but just don't expect anything from me for the foreseeable future. Someday I'll be back, and I'm sure I'll have a Trixie fic or two up my sleeve then, but for now, life has dealt me a difficult hand that I need to sort out.

In the meantime, I apologize for my silence over the past few months and I hope that those of you who were looking forward to new chapters aren't too disappointed to hear they won't be coming out any time soon. Sorry, guys... Hopefully this random picture I pulled from derpibooru will do for now. Wubba lubba dub dub, bitches.

If she's not named Trixie, you're lying.

Congratulations very much on your engagement, I hope you two are very happy together.

When you return to writing, we and Trixie shall be waiting.

I would whore my own stories as a joke about "the spark inspiring someone else" but I'm not that low.

did you just

the ring I now wear on my right hand (also I got both mono and appendicitis

One sincerely hopes that the presence of the latter two conditions were in no way connected to the existence of the former :rainbowlaugh:.

I do hope you come back soon, however, as I'm one of the large number of people who is desperate to know of Trixie's fate.

3402751 Plot twist: The former is a result of the latter and his new SO is a nurse!

DISCLAIMER: I'm making this shit up off the top of my head.

PS: I thought wedding rings were usually on the left hand. Was I lied to/mislead?

Not like it matters anyways. Jewelry/accessories/clothing only has meaning if the wearer (or in some cases gifter) thinks it does and even then such a meaning only matters to them.

Oh, that kind of ring on your finger! When I read that, I thought you'd caught some kind of freaky disease.

Oh, right, congrats to you two!

I did not, but we can pretend I did.

Ew, why are you getting married? Ew, romance :rainbowwild:

3402855 engagement ring goes on the right, wedding ring goes on the left for some couples.

Congrats on the engagement.

In all seriousness, alex, congratulations.

Congratulations on the engagement, but OUCH on the illnesses. :( Glad you're better, but also kinda sucks about the leaving. Still, hopefully you'll be back sooner rather than later. :)
