Merry Christmas everyone! Happy holidays, and happy New Year!

I hope everyone is having a good time with family, friends, or whoever. I suppose I don’t normally do these kinds of holiday posts, but I figured I haven’t been around for a while and thought it’d be nice to use this time to say thank you to everyone on this site. It’s been really good to be back, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time so far. I’m looking forward to the new year and continuing to be around. I’ve missed all of you guys and can’t wait to see what else comes from both FiMfic and MLP generally.

As for myself, I actually have a couple of ideas I’m letting percolate for a bit before I write them, so hopefully I’ll have some new stuff in the coming weeks. I think I’ve finally settled on an idea for a Daring Do fic, and I’ve also got some ideas for a fic starring Starlight, Trixie, Discord, and Thorax/Spike. I think they’d be a fun group to write about having adventures.

Anyway, I don’t really know what else to say in this blog. I just had the urge to say something. I wanted to express my gratitude for the support and encouragement I’ve received through writing, and furthermore I’m really glad to have met the people I have through here. I’ve made some incredible friends and had some great times, and I hope I’ll make even more friends and more memories in the future. Now that I’m back, I think I’ll hang around for a while and see how things go. Oh, speaking of that, I haven’t posted my MLP: The Movie blog yet, but I’m hoping to get it finished before New Year’s. We’ll see though. I’m kinda busy with family and stuff right now, but just as a small teaser: I really liked the movie. Yes, it’s flawed and it could have been better, but I really enjoyed what there was. I’ll go into more detail in the review proper, but suffice it to say I was quite happy with the direction they took the film. Also, some have asked if I plan on doing the EqG shorts and I think I will, but don’t expect those before January. They should be fun.

One last thing before I end this post. I haven’t read any Christmas/Hearth’s Warming fics that I can recommend, unfortunately. But, since we’re here I figured I might as well link my own two fics rather shamelessly. I’m biased of course, but I’m actually really proud of the Diamond Tiara fic I wrote several years ago.
