    A failed threat?

So I went into my inbox to see if some folks may have DMed me and I stumbled upon this. And I tried to ask "What do you want me to delete?", but I got an error. Obviously, I wasn't gonna delete anything, and threatening to call the police would've just been the stupidest thing ever.

So I won't lie, all of what I'm gonna show to you is made using AI. But I'm not using these as the "Finished looks", but these are more of concepts, as I'm terrible at drawing, and don't have cash to pay someone to draw them. But this is the main idea:

How Did I become a Brony? · 1:41am Sep 16th, 2015

I know today doesn't seem important, but I've always been itching to tell how I joined the herd, and though it's not technically today, but I have no memory on the specific date on which I joined. I do, however, remember the first thing that was the main push on how I joined this community. So, without further ado, this is how I joined the Brony Community!

I was a sophomore in high school, first semester as I remember, three months before winter break, but I remember watching one video on YouTube.

Okay, so this WASN'T the video that got me to join the herd. Truth be told, I thought it was just some small video some guy made on GMod, then it was animated, and I didn't read the description nor comments, so I figured it was just a small, bit innocent video about the heavy teaching engineer on how to make a sandvich. No, the real one that got me to watch Friendship is Magic were two words: DEATH BATTLE!!!
Yes, THIS was the video that made me watch MLP!!! I didn't care about MLP at all, in fact, if Rainbow Dash lost, I'd most likely still join the fandom, I'd just be really delayed to join. When Starscream lost, I had a nerd rage, too focused on how a decepticon would lose to a rainbow mane colored pegasus pony. Then, the moment of truth; weeks had passed and I finally decided to watch the first episode. And would you know, it was a two parter, so "Might as well watch the second part."

Second episode ends. "...Just one more episode, then I'm done with this stupid pony show."

"Oh my God... I like this show... I love My Little Pony... what's happening to me!?!?!?" And, though I didn't know at the time, I joined the Herd, and I was converted into a Brony by myself.

Just replace Cage with my younger self and Ghost Rider with my O.C. as you read in the Birthday Special of D.I.E.

The days were dramatic for me; I hid the fact that I enjoyed MLP, warned to my friends to not watch the show. Basically, I was like this anonymous guy.

Funny thing, they joined the herd, and I was starting a domino effect where everyone I knew was becoming Bronies by the second, including my best friend Matt, who you know as madgamer1228. Luckily, I learned what a Brony was, accepted what I was, and continued... then my parents came along. Let's just say they were reacting about how I enjoyed a show that WAS made for little girls as any parent would for their child who was born with Asperger's Syndrome, about how if this continued, I'd be gay. I knew I wasn't gay, and I'm still straight as I watch the booty and neither did I clop to it! Of course, my brother joined, both of us watching the show together, and in a few months, I showed them something that, though my mom didn't like, my father LOVED!!!

And they both watched an episode with me; Call of the Cutie as I remembered. (though I actually wanted them to watch the Last Roundup, before they changed Derpy).
My mom's words: "I'd watch more."
My dad's words: "Not my cup of tea."

As of right now, they know I watch the show and they're fine with it, though I still act like Fear from Inside-Out when they come around as I watch a new or old episode, but I'm trying not to show that I'm not afraid of being a brony... until they humiliate me publicly as they see something MLP related for me. (you wouldn't believe how Red I was at any build-a-bear as they point out the new characters added, questioning me about them)

So my question to you is this: How did you join the herd?

Also, some addition, this is NSFW, but last night, I found this and knew this was a scene from a deleted fic I made called "Will be snacks for bits" and I want to thank Sugahbite for it. Awesome, and I apologize for deleting it.

D.I.E... I never realized how accurate that was until now.

Anyways, pony Jesus punched me in my fucking balls and said I would become the MLP Nostalgia Critic, before slamming my head into a table.
Jokes aside, I was introduced through Smile HD, noped the fuck away from the fandom for a while, and eventually sat down and watched Turnabout Storm, and watched some episodes and liked them. I became a brony thanks to those three and Mr. Enter.

I became a fan of MLP (I hate the term "brony") in the spring of 2013. My girlfriend at the time actually introduced me to it and the first episode I saw was "Putting Your Hoof Down" and I was kind of lukewarm on it. It is not a good episode to start with because one of the main characters acts OOC. But she was adamant that I give it a shot. So a few weeks later, I started at the very beginning, Episode 1. And I ended up binge-watching the entire show up to that point.

It's hard for me to explain what caused me to enjoy the show so much. Partly was that the characters are strong and well-developed over the course of the series. All of the Mane Six are archetypes, sure, but they are able to transcend that to make each one of them unique from all the others of that archetype.

Soon, I was reading and writing fanfiction and my friend suggested I join this site which I did in November 2013. And the rest, as they say, is history.

3396085 see I too was introduced to to the show by smile hd but it had me laughing my ass off and I watched the first episode ... and the second ... and the third... then I looked out the window and saw the sun rising and I had to more episodes left for season 4 and this was 10 months ago.

When I first joined the herd, I saw Cupcakes for the first time. (Not the one with Andrew W. K's "Get ready to die", but the more horror one)
So many nightmares.:fluttercry:

Wow now that I look at it. Mine was from a bet with a friend of mine who has been one for a few years now. He bet me that I couldn't beat him in a race at a car graveyard and I lost by a finger. So my punishment at the time was to read several stories and watch a few mlp related sfm videos and ever the curious fellow I watched the first season, though it did kind of annoy me. Then I thought what the he'll I'm bored I'll c if season two is any better well I kind of started to see thing they dealt with that happened to me. So two turned to three and three turned to four but it didn't hit me that I was one till after I started writing stories on here. Now it's like wow indoctrination is subtle as hell. But I'm still a wastelander through and through just more proned to back up any bronies I see getting picked on.

I joined the fandom at the very beginning of season 2. I had heard about the show while the first season was airing but I didn't pay too much attention. Gradually I kept hearing how surprisingly good the show was and I considered watching. It wasn't until I saw CR's video about the show (and subsequently learning that John freaking de Lancie was in it) that I actually sat down and watched the first season plus Return of Harmony. I haven't looked back since.

I was introdused to MLP at all at a young age. (4-7 years) throu a a movie abaut an erliey gen. (Don know witch one. The only thing I remember abaut it is that they sung ~Twilight, Fasion, Clower. If you know the gen plese tell.) I dismised it like a "okey" show. When I turned 13 I found som "not safe for woona" fanfics. Even if I did not know hwo the cherecters ware I reed on. That was how I was introdused to G4. Later I got a friend that told me abaut the show and I diseded to see if it was good and here I am.

Joined around 2013 when Season 3 aired. I had seen the Military Bronies React to Teens React thing and I thought to myself, "maybe I shouldn't label something until I actually see what's going on here," then I saw Pinkie with a mustache.

I think that about sums it up.

Oh, then I found this place a month later, and haven't been able to get off since 2013.

Wow, you too? I first heard about MLP FIM from that same death battle video since I'm a huge fan of it! At the time, I thought it was too girly and didn't pay any heed to it, though I was still rooting for Rainbow Dash to win since I hate Transformers XD After a while, I started reading a ton of stuff on TVtropes and a few of them kept talking about MLP, like the one trope which said S4E26 was pretty much a throw back to DBZ. I was confused at first and shrugged it off, thinking "How can ponies fight like that?" and kept trying to ignore it, but some tropes kept talking about it. Then I learned there were a lot of male fans called "bronies" and I was like wat? "How the hell can males like that!? Its a little girls show!" After that, I took every chance I could to make fun of bronies whenever I seen them anywhere, including on Xbox Live. (And let me tell you, I have a HUGE amount of regret now for ever saying that) So everything was gravy and my brother also hated it, but then I watched this fan series called My Little Portal on YT and was hooked into it, especially the 5th episode where things got violent and was thinking to myself "Maybe it isn't as bad as it seems" and a while later, I watched the first episode and was extremely embarrassed doing that. I even waited till my family left before I watched it since I didn't want them to know and always hastily closed those videos when they came back like it was NSFW or something! XD While I still hated it, I started to like how the series was and started watching more episodes and reading more about it from the MLP wiki. For a long time, I hid it from my bro and denied liking it. About 6 months later, I was watching one and didn't close it when my bro saw. He naturally called me a freak for watching a girls show, but I told him its not as bad as it seems. After that, I really grew hooked into the fandom and became a brony myself, even making my demon character (who I used for my other stories) have a pony based off him called RidleyX. Soon I joined Twitter Ponies on Twitter where I started RPing a lot and was proud to be a part of the fandom. About 1 month ago, I even managed to make my bro watch an episode and though he still doesn't like it, he also doesn't hate it anymore and even made a character himself on Twitter ponies! That's pretty much how I came into being with this fandom and to this day, I'm insanely glad I did. Sorry about this wall of text, though it was a little on the short end for me :rainbowlaugh: Anyway, I look forward to reading more of your Deadpool stories here! Nice work on it so far!

3432229 I know that feel, man. I joined around when Season 2 began (the rise of the Bronies!) *A whole scene of Pony O.C.s marching through the city, following the Fausticorn. 'Normal people either hide, stand aside, or try to fight, to which many soon followe and are converted into Ponies themselves by Fausticorn herself. Other Fandoms join the herd, and soon, Fausticorn sits on the Iron Throne and looks over the world, as everypony salutes*

And then there's me... with my own followers... FUN!!! (Note: I'm not a huge fan of the Pre-Sequel, since it's, well, a prequel, and I already know what's going to happen)

3432331 Weird, but that actually makes sense in a way. I've seen quite a few people from other fandoms start liking the MLP fandom and following it :rainbowlaugh: Whatever Faust has done, it sure has won a huge fanbase over it! Also, like you said, there are the followers of her who have their own followers, like you! The way its going, even if FIM is canceled in years to come, this fandom will more than likely still persist. (I kinda like the pre-sequel, but 2 was the best imo to me XD)
