Progress Report 08 September 2015 · 12:34am Sep 9th, 2015
Hi all.
I told myself I'd post a blog yesterday. I lied. So I'm posting one today.
I've managed to catch up with Designing Intrigue. I've written chapters three through eight. So there will be updates sometime in the fall for that one.
I'm back to writing in Rites itself now, and it's in mission six. This is going to have a lot of stuff I've wanted to write for a long, long time. I think you guys will love it. That being said, I need to write at least thirteen thousand more words in that before I can post chapter forty, which is in the editing process. And honestly, I might bump that to thirty thousand, because mission six is already looking longer than I planned.
The good news is that unlike mission four, which grew too vast and complicated for me to even juggle in my mind (and wound up drastically trimmed in scope), mission six's length is not due to overcomplexity. I've got most of it planned out pretty well, so things should go forward as expected, just with more words.
My back still hurts really bad and is the number one thing stopping me from writing on most days. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.
Very soon I'll be restating my writing on original work, too, with the aim of publication, thanks to my iPad and SwiftKey making writing easier on my hands. To that end, I'm thinking about starting a general, non-fimfic blog to rant about stuff, from politics to technology, and everything in between (and not in between). This would help get more exposure for the brand behind whatever pen name I choose. Just a thought right now, though.

Good luck.
I shall pray that the Doctor can help.
(it would be FREAKIN EPIC if he came in to see you wearing a long, multi-colored scarf
Sounds like fun. I'll be waiting for that to happen.
Sounds like things have definitely improved recently. I'm glad to hear it.
Here's hoping that doctor visit goes well for once.
