In this blog, I'm mainly going to be discussing the sequel to Regret. But first, I'd like to talk about Regret's attention...thing.
I'm very amazed at how many views it obtained during its run. Over 30,000. :D
I'm not too too sad about the amount of likes [because I'm not an attention whore yet], but I only wish more people had the chance to see it, especially those who, in my early days on FIMfiction, doubted I would go anywhere with my stories. But nonetheless, I'm really glad people loved it!
I'm hoping the sequel to Regret gets as much praise and support as stories done by Crowley or even The Camel.
Speaking of sequel, let's talk that. :D
What will it be about? How will it be done? When will it be done?
Well, the story will talk about the coming months and perhaps, if it goes far enough, years after the incident in Manehattan. And as some are possibly guessing, Aqua Lilly and Swift Shadow will be making returns and playing big parts in the story.
The story will be done in the style similar to that of a television show. As we all know, television shows have seasons.
Yes. The sequel will be divided into story equivalent of television seasons. With this tactic, I can make a story, release a set of chapters, take a break for a while, work on the second set, break, and repeat.
I feel that, this way, I can prevent myself from tiring myself out and obtaining Writer's Block [again] AND I can make it so the story will not seem so short.
Think of the story "Living The Dream". That story had a total of 141 chapters!
Then remember The Chase. As of now, the story has 764 chapters.
764. FUCKING. CHAPTERS.
Yeah.
Could the sequel go that far? Possibly, yes, if it remains just as tense and entertaining as Regret, AND as long as it doesn't jump the shark some time in.
But at the same time, it might not, because a storyline like this can only go so far. As we all know, Swift runs an underground operation under Manehattan. Perhaps, with time, the storyline will revolve around what Swift could do.
I won't plan on turning the main character, you, into some kind of badass in the future. The story will focus on his recovery and the future that lies ahead.
But remember, the sequel will be a long story. :D

An idea for the 'season' aspect of the sequel, release blog posts stating when the 'season' will commence and end, with regular chapters during the timeframe.
Apart from that, I'm looking forward to it!

Got damn son, you wrote out a damn good story, and this sequel, will no doubt be the best fucking thing ever.
How do I think it'll go?
Well... a part of me is hoping when Swift Shadow (the asshole who hurt the main character right?) is caught again, Dash will beat his ass into a pulp, give hi ma taste of his own medicine as it were. (IE, I want her to beat the ever living shit out of him for payback O^O) And I'm hoping for something good to happen in this sequel, cause I'm that kind of guy, who, regardless of the story, I'm always wanting everything to work out in the end, but somehow I know it won't no matter how much I want it Dx
So I'm hoping, that he'll come out of the coma eventually, months, maybe years from now. He'll still remember Dash and all that, and they'll make up, and boom! Happy ending, but it won't happen me thinks DX hehehe, but I will still read the shit out of it! Because, why not?
I love good stories, and their sequels.
Twilight could Celestia's aid, I'm sure she can send some agents to get into the police station and root out the corrupt cops and force them to talk.
I just hope he go with all the girls. Less to disappoint.
