A Bunch of Stuff Worth Mentioning

Hey, guys!

I'm still alive and breathing. That much is (as far as I can tell) true. Life's still busy, but it should clear up here soon, as this week is the last of my grad school. () In the whole job hunting phase now, with just a few projects to finish up by Thursday, and it's hello Master's degree!

But enough about real life. Let's talk about some things in the pony world, cause that's what you're all here for, right?

First off, I've been slacking like crazy on Kite. Yeah, I had finished it a while ago when I mentioned it in my last blog, but there were a few big things that did need changing after my editor got through it. Needless to say, I have almost everything sorted out, but still can't really hit that sweet spot with the few things remaining to address. My week off next week should definitely help with that.

In that vein, I finally got started on that Transcendence sequel, Flock Together. Words are coming, and I'm liking the bits I have written so far, but I can tell this'll be a toughie to balance emotionally. I feel under more pressure to hit this one right than Square Enix does in remaking FF7. It'll come, though. That much I know for sure. (On a side note, while grabbing that link I found another one to ANEWFREAKIN'ICO/SHADOWOFTHE COLOSSUSGAMEOHMYGODI'MSOHAPPYICRIEDTEARSOFJOYANDEXCITEMENTINEEDAPLAYSTATION4!!!)

Other stories in the works (I use that term lightly) still include those two Dark ones I had mentioned a long while ago. Considering the headway I'm making on Flock Together, I'll probably keep going at it and throw out bits and pieces of these two whenever I hit some writer's block on FT. Sandbagging's fun, eh?

Oh an don't worry, Square will screw it up, just like they would royally screw up a Chrono Trigger remake. I mean they re did Thief and... uh it turned out bad.
